Economy

The economy is the heart of the independence question. On one hand the Unionists are quick to point out that Scotland cannot go it alone even though there are several smaller countries, Estonia for example who are doing very well. The counter-argument is the country is rich in natural resources and with exports to the rest of the world, particularly Europe not only can it stand on it's own two feet but is actually propping up the UK economy. For those undecided on the question of independence the economy is the key question.
