Pensions
A hot-topic item in the debate over the 2014 Referendum. Would pensions be devalued or even made null and void in the event of a Yes vote? Well scaremongering does not come much lower than that and it worked - only 30% of people 65 and over voted "yes". Even today it's still an issue, though it still has a certain amount of fear, uncertainty and doubt associated with it there is a lot more information available and at least an outline of how responsibilities over pensions would be divided.
