Authoritarianism
The sister of accountability, authoritarianism in Scottish politics is thankfully not the sort you'd find in other countries where one party dominates. Instead it's a symptom of being too long in power where politicians accustomed to being re-elected year after year start to consider that they know best when it comes to making decisions and as a result the electorate are treated with a degree of contempt.
